I could only look
out the window, like glimpsing over the seawall to the vastness of sky and
ocean vistas, or contemplate the softness and unknown delights of the
marvellous little creatures that were my female classmates. I had experienced these creatures also
at home at the beach. My
neighbours Cathy and Sally were another vast universe that was mysterious, yet
more internal, showing me love reflected as a virtual, also ungraspable reverse
door to the ocean.
